Toby's Dinosaur

Toby's Dinosaur is a children’s’ adventure that deals with loss, fitting in, and following ones passions.

LOGLINE: A young boy and his new friends’ team up to help send a Dinosaur from the past back to where it came from.

SYNOPSIS: Toby is the son of a talented palaeontologist and like his father; he has an enthusiasm for Dinosaurs. When his father dies from cancer, his mother decides to re-locate to her hometown, taking Toby along with her. Unbeknown to Toby, the area is a hive of dinosaur discovery. Escali is a head-strong adolescent Dinosaur, who also loses his father in an attack by a T-Rex. Like Toby, he and his family need to move, and make a fresh start at life.

The two are thrust together when Toby stumbles through a Portal, back in time, to the Cretaceous Period. Escali has been aware of the portals for some time, and so has Captain Trunker, the head of a Government organization who is investigating the appearance of the Portals.

When Escali becomes stuck in the future, it is up to Toby and his new-found friends to get him back to the Cretaceous Period before the persistant Trunker, and his team, uses him as a science experiment.
