Nate Landis

The Nate Landis series is a mocu-mentary like no other, its truly universal themes quality makes it humorous yet topical and this combined with the flashy paranormal elements makes for a unique viewing experience.

The characters are flawed, which makes them human. The characters have comic elements, which make them relatable, and finally the characters have talent, diversity and culture and that makes them Australian.

The initial 13 part series of Nate Landis will introduce the two lead characters, Nate Landis and Virgi Walsh. They both share a love and talent for all that is paranormal and both have problem pasts. Virgi’s past is about to catch up with her, and Nate is chasing his, looking looking for the ghost of his Father.

The documentary style shoot is very fast paced and edgy, we see Nate delving into situations that are interesting and comical. Small sections of visual effects (CGI) will be in dispersed with the live action. Each episode will reveal another paranormal being or element along with more clues into Virgi’s secret background. Virgi was once the Security Director of The Organisation, after she was asked to leave in a shroud of mystery; she has been receiving secret packages and messages. Nate who is so consumed in his own life and events doesn’t notice, although Virgi tries to conceal her stress well.

Nate’s Father, PATCH who was killed in the line of duty (Paranormal hunting), was and is a large part of Nate’s life. Nate still runs the family business as “Landis and Son”, someday longing for his Father to make a miraculous appearance. Nate’s troubled past and his inability to open up is apparent, only Virgi can open Nate up and get him to see there is more to life than Ghost hunting.
